My process for releasing resistance around my money/business goals.

Do you sometimes find yourself delaying, or procrastinating something that you know you need to do in the process of reaching your goals?

Or maybe, when you finally get up the courage to get to it, something happens to keep you from doing it, maybe your kid gets sick, or a loved one needs your help,
then your dreams take the backseat?

Well, this used to happened to me all the time, and then I realized it was just my resistance showing up in many different forms and keeping me from taking action, keeping me from growing my business, keeping me for making my dreams become reality.

In this video, I am sharing how I quickly release resistance around my goals to stay focused, keep taking action, even in the mist of a “crisis”, so that I can reach my goals.

A while back, I had noticed how resistant I was to even setting money goals in my business.

I also noticed that even when I had the courage to set a goal, something would often come up that I would use as an excuse why I didn’t reach my goal.

My kid would get sick, some crisis would come up that would take my focus and attention away from my goal.

The truth is that, if I am being honest with myself, I can recognize that those were just excuses to justify me not doing what I knew I needed to do to reach my goal.

The reality is that each time I would set a goal, lots of resistance would show up.

Often it would be the worry about what others would think if I didn’t reach my goal,

and very often, it was because I was afraid of failing, as I had memories of shame around past failure.

And It keeps me stuck when I am in that space, but the moment I release resistance around it, then I keep going until I reach my goal.

Here is how I do it, and you can try this also:

1. Observe myself whenever I feel like I am setting goals, delaying something, procrastinating ….
I watch what thoughts are running through my mind,
I feel my body in the same process.
Our bodies never lie I find. Often when I have resistance around something, I can feel it in my body. My shoulders may become tight, my breathing may become shallow…..
Then from then, I ask myself, what thoughts am I thinking that are making my body feel that way.

2. Identify the thoughts or fear that brought that sensation up and recognize it for what it is – resistance.

3. Face it:
like for example, in the case when I am trying to avoid the feeling of shame I associate with failure, I would just face it.

Release the resistance. I would just say to myself : “Even though I may fail, I willing to take a chance anyway”

What important is to be able to energetically feel yourself and observe yourself without judgement through it.
